Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)! Austill's Educational Therapy Services, the leading provider of pediatric, school-based services in southwestern Pennsylvania, is seeking a Register Behavior Technician to work 5 days/week (M-F) in an elementary school in Elkins Park, PA. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent AND completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT task list as evidenced by BCBA or BCaBA; AND Active certification through the BACB
  • At least 1 year of experience providing behavior technician services; preferred 2 years
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to think strategically and work under pressure
  • Active PA driver's license, clearances within 1 year of hire (PA Criminal Record, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Fingerprinting through the Dept. of Education, TB).

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct support to student(s) in 1:1 or group setting in accordance with IEP/PBSP and under the supervision of BCBA.
  • Follows the behavior reduction and behavior skill acquisition protocols.
  • Collects, records, and maintains data based on students’ behavior.
  • Communicates with students’ educational team.
  • Assists BCBA/BSC with FBA’s and skill acquisition.
