About The Position

The Regional Visual Merchandiser, Central/Canada role at Van Cleef & Arpels is designed for a candidate with a strong background in visual merchandising project management, particularly in the luxury retail sector. The position is based in Chicago and involves significant travel (60% of the time) to various boutiques in the Central/Canada region, including locations in Chicago, Vancouver, Yorkdale, Bloor St., and Aspen. The role requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, with a focus on direct merchandising and in-store experience. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of visual merchandising, supporting product launches, events, and ensuring that the boutiques reflect the Maison's excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience in Visual Merchandising project management.
  • Experience in the luxury field is essential.
  • Retail experience is preferred.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Robust working knowledge of Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Willingness to travel 60% of the time.
  • Ability to lift over 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SAP.
  • Proficiency in French.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain VM Alignment by Implementing VM Zoning Plans and Guidelines in Central/Canada Boutiques.
  • Ensure Visual Guidelines are being implemented.
  • Foster close relationship with Regional Director, Central and work alongside to align on business priorities.
  • Conduct monthly or as needed visits to the boutiques to support special animation installations.
  • Create and implement boutique zoning with Boutique Directors.
  • Communicate regularly with Visual, Marketing, and PR teams to replace/update merchandise on display.
  • Train and work with boutique teams on Visual Merchandising.
  • Monitor condition and order replacement PLV & Signage as needed.
  • Create Monthly Visual Merchandising Reports/recaps.
  • Support Special Window and Boutique Installations, Product Launches, and Special Events.
  • Maintain Overall Boutique Appearance.
  • Collaborate with Store Planning on Barricade installations for store openings.
