About The Position

The Regional Vice President of Sales is an important leadership role within our Glass America sales team. The RVP of Sales will utilize their industry knowledge to provide strong leadership, motivation and expertise to coach and develop a strong, diverse and effective team of Account Managers. The RVP of Sales will manage all sales activities for Glass America's services within a defined geographic area. The RVP of Sales will also ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of Account Managers while WOW'ing every internal and external customer. This position will also assist with identifying objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales involvement and experience.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques that drive business growth.
  • Ability to lead a diverse team of account managers, achieve results through sound strategies and maximize the efficiency of account managers.
  • Progressive thinker with the expertise to plan short and long-term goals through strategic solutions.
  • Ability to travel up to 50-60%.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree preferred but not required. Equivalent years of related work experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, develop and retain a team of diverse and highly skilled Account Managers.
  • Encourage high standards of performance and motivate others to define new opportunities and continuously improve the organization.
  • Manage CRM reporting and usage.
  • Review and monitor all activity in markets.
  • Track sales team metrics and data on a regular basis.
  • Ensure correct usage of CRM and other sales applications.
  • Recognize exceptional quality of work and document substandard production through hands-on management and regular performance discussions.
  • Create and foster a team environment that encourages people to take risks and do their best.
  • Bridge relationships with Operational Team members, Internal Sales Representatives (ISR's) and Accounting.
  • Create and drive sales processes in the field.
  • Ability to remotely supervise and manage a team of Account Managers located within assigned territories.
