About The Position

The Regional Vice President of Operations at Midas Hospitality is responsible for overseeing the operational success and sales efforts of a portfolio of 10-12 hotels. This leadership role involves motivating General Managers and team members to enhance guest experiences while ensuring adherence to brand standards and achieving financial goals. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and relationship management with third-party owners and investors.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in an area/regional or multi-unit operations position with multiple brand hotel experience.
  • 8-10 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous Full-Service General Manager experience is required.
  • Experience in above property roles over full-service hotels.
  • Relocation to the St. Louis area is required.
  • Experience with the Food & Beverage industry.
  • Degree in Hospitality or Business Management or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a hotel portfolio of approximately 10-12 hotels to achieve top-line revenue, guest service, profitability, and associate satisfaction.
  • Travel as needed to the hotels in the portfolio.
  • Ensure all brand standards are implemented and track new brand initiatives for timely execution.
  • Maintain successful relationships with third-party owners and investors.
  • Conduct monthly reviews and reporting to the COO, third-party owners, and Midas Investors.
  • Participate in revenue management calls and achieve success with brand BSA's.
  • Score above brand average in guest scores across main categories.
  • Interview, hire, and train new General Managers and Directors of Sales.
  • Conduct scheduled hotel visits and document findings.
  • Mentor and coach team members, holding Area General Managers accountable.
  • Conduct General Manager reviews and lead the budget process with each General Manager.
  • Analyze and explain financial statements and support new acquisitions and hotel openings.
