Job Summary The Regional Vice President (RVP) of Group Fitness is responsible for leading and growing the group fitness program across an assigned region of clubs (GA, NC, and TN). This role drives class participation, ensures high-quality programming, develops Group Fitness leadership teams, and maintains cost efficiency while delivering an engaging and innovative member experience. The RVP is on-site and partners closely with club leadership, marketing, operations, and construction teams to execute programming initiatives, launch new formats, support new club openings, and maintain consistent brand standards across all locations. This position plays a key role in developing instructors and future leaders while ensuring the group fitness program continues to grow and evolve with member demand.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in group fitness leadership, multi-unit fitness operations, or program management
  • Proven experience developing instructors, managers, and leadership teams
  • Strong understanding of group fitness programming, schedule optimization, and class performance metrics
  • Ability to analyze club performance reports and identify operational opportunities
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly across assigned clubs and markets
  • Passion for fitness and creating an engaging, inclusive group fitness experience

Responsibilities

  • Drive year-over-year growth in class participation and class averages while maintaining efficient instructor labor and programming costs.
  • Oversee and develop the District Group Fitness Manager (DGFM) leadership team, providing coaching, training, and performance accountability.
  • Review weekly and monthly performance reports to evaluate club trends, identify underperforming classes, and adjust schedules accordingly.
  • Plan and execute department initiatives and programming strategies in partnership with the marketing team to support club engagement and brand growth.
  • Lead quarterly schedule updates and programming adjustments to keep the group fitness offering innovative and aligned with member demand.
  • Organize and lead bi-annual instructor training and development programs to ensure high-quality instruction and a strong studio culture.
  • Support instructor recruitment and leadership pipeline development, identifying and developing future Group Fitness Managers and District leaders.
  • Ensure new club openings and presale locations are staffed with trained instructors, fully developed class schedules, and operational readiness for launch.
  • Partner with club leadership teams to ensure proper class check-in procedures and reporting accuracy.
  • Conduct regular club and studio walkthroughs to maintain company standards, equipment readiness, and studio functionality.
  • Collaborate with construction and facilities teams during renovations or studio expansions.
  • Support broader club initiatives by partnering with sales and personal training teams to drive overall club engagement and member experience.
