About The Position

As a Regional Vice President at Salesforce, you will play a pivotal role in leading and developing a team of Account Executives within the Central region. This position requires a dynamic sales leader who is adept at managing client relationships and driving sales performance. You will be responsible for participating in and leading client and prospect meetings, ensuring that your team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. Your role will involve ongoing mentoring and development of the sales team, which includes recruiting, hiring, and training new team members on the sales process. You will also be tasked with reporting on sales activity and forecasting to senior sales management, ensuring that your team meets its targets and contributes to the overall growth of the organization. The Sales Organization at Salesforce is structured into various business segments, each focusing on different verticals such as Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and more. As a Regional Vice President, you will oversee teams that sell across these multiple verticals, ensuring that they are aligned with the company's strategic goals. You will lead initiatives to drive customer awareness and engagement, develop and implement successful sales campaigns, and engage with C-level executives in enterprise customer organizations. Your leadership will directly impact the growth of Salesforce, as you coach your team to excel in their careers and inspire them to deliver their best work. In this role, you will be expected to monitor sales activity consistently, track results, and lead demand generation activities. You will work cross-functionally with internal partners and corporate resources to ensure consistent processes and a successful team dynamic. Building and maintaining corporate relationships and executive engagement will be crucial to your success in this position.
