About The Position
The Regional Training Coordinator at the Department of Job and Family Services, Southwest Ohio Regional Training Center (SWORTC) is responsible for planning, developing, and scheduling trainings for the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program (OCWTP) and the Ohio Human Services Training System (OHSTS). This role involves collaboration with counties to identify training needs and support professional development for managers, supervisors, and staff. The coordinator acts as a liaison to county agencies, represents the region at meetings and conferences, and promotes program participation. Additionally, the coordinator tracks training requirements, manages the administrative budget, recruits trainers, and assists in program development and quality improvement initiatives.
