Allied Universal® is hiring a Regional Trainer for the NYC Branches. The Regional Trainer will teach Allied Universal employees at all levels, upskilling employees to develop a safety, service, and growth mindset. Training course development, delivery and compliance-tracking will be conducted in accordance with all federal, state or province, and local laws and regulations, while also adhering to Allied Universal standards and values.

  • Develop and deliver training content for internal staff and client-specific needs.
  • Facilitate programs in compliance with Allied Universal standards and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide specialty training in CPR/First Aid/AED, defensive tactics, mobility devices, and field training.
  • Partner with HR and branch leadership to implement contract- and regulation-compliant training programs.
  • Oversee Training Academy performance across regions, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Ensure training compliance for armed officers, mobile patrol, and use of force requirements.
  • Participate in WFM and operations meetings; present training metrics using DOMO.
  • Distribute weekly reports on training completions and upcoming virtual instructor-led sessions.
  • Maintain clear communication with internal teams and clients.
  • Conduct quarterly site audits to address training gaps and provide on-site instruction.
  • Meet with clients, document findings, and implement improvement plans.
  • Build relationships with local training academies as needed.
  • Deliver contracted services (e.g., fire safety, workplace violence training).
  • Support regional projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Certification as a New York State General Topics Instructor for security personnel or meet the requirements to become a NYS General Topics Instructor.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary state or federal licensing requirements.
  • Current driver's license if driving a company vehicle, or personal vehicle in the course of conducting business.
  • Excellent customer-service skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of individuals professionally.
  • Proven experience with personnel supervision and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to write manuals, review and respond to written requests for proposals, training documents, and prepare extensive presentations.
  • Highly proficient and fully functional in Microsoft programs such as Word and PowerPoint.
  • Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as well as work extended hours to meet business objectives.
  • Must be able to focus and multi-task in busy environment, with the ability to successfully handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • College degree in Education, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or other private security or law enforcement related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of classroom instructor experience.
  • Prior experience in teaching in the fire service, security industry, law enforcement and/or military.
  • Base salary, bonus opportunity.

  • Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
