About The Position

The Regional Supply Manager is responsible for managing their designated region’s wholesale gasoline and diesel supply. Each region has commitments for both RaceTrac and third party customers allowing the Regional Supply Manager to optimize logistics. In addition, this Manager is responsible for reducing RaceTrac’s fuel acquisition cost to their stores through negotiation as well as truck logistics optimization. This Manager works to ensure fuel is always available for delivery at an optimal price to ultimately minimize costs for the organization. What You'll Do: Negotiates contracts with external suppliers for fuel purchasing as well as storage opportunities. Manages total system inventory to balance sufficient supply while reducing inventory cost. Collaborates with trading and scheduling to optimize bulk inventory acquisition and logisitics Optimizes daily fuel procurement to reduce fuel cost for RaceTrac and RaceWay stores Acts as subject matter expert for the processes and business reporting for respective area of responsibility. Creates and enhances logistics analyses using Excel and Microsoft Power BI Tracks KPIs, reports on supply chain’s performance, and communicates key findings to affected parties. Coordinates with internal retail business partners on business process changes to improve performance and reduce costs. Serves as analytical support and project lead on various ad-hoc initiatives that support business growth. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in global/regional process forums. Requirements

  • 3+ years professional experience in trading, supply, or logistics for oil and gas required
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel
  • Completed Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other related field of study

  • Experience managing vendor relationships highly preferred
