The mission of CPLC's Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) is to promote the health, well-being, and stability of refugees, unaccompanied alien children, and other eligible individuals and families, through culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based services. Our vision is for all new arrivals to be welcomed with equitable, high-quality services and resources so they can maximize their potential. HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE? As the HS/PRS Regional Supervisor, you will lead a regional team of Caseworkers dedicated to conducting home studies and providing post-release services to unaccompanied children and their sponsors. Your leadership will ensure that services are delivered with empathy, excellence, and compliance - empowering your team to support families through each step of their journey. You will: Supervise PRS Caseworkers (Level 1 & 2) and Home Study Caseworkers. Oversee assessments, case reviews, and quality assurance of home studies and service plans. Support staff development through training, coaching, and performance feedback. Ensure timely, thorough documentation and adherence to program standards. Collaborate across departments and with community partners to connect families to critical resources. Requirements

  • MSW degree or an equivalent degree in behavioral sciences or a social service field and 3 years of progressive experience in the fields listed above or a bachelor's degree in one of the aforementioned fields, plus 5 years of relevant employment experience.
  • Experience conducting homes studies and writing thorough assessment reports.
  • Clinical crisis and intervention skills
  • Strong assessment and analysis skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent organizational abilities
  • Excellent judgment and leadership capabilities
  • Bilingual and bicultural: English and Spanish, highly preferred
  • Employees are required to possess strong computer skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel, MS Teams
  • In-depth understanding of child welfare best practices, trauma-informed care systems, and working within homes and communities
  • Knowledgeable about family preservation, kinship care, and/or general child welfare
  • Knowledge of local community social services
  • A valid US Driver's License
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Available to travel as necessary.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a background investigation, and additional clearances as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Specialized experience conducting/reviewing home studies and working with immigrant populations, with clinical experience, highly preferred.
  • Bilingual and bicultural: English and Spanish, highly preferred
