Position summary: The Regional Sourcing & Procurement Manager (North America) is responsible for leading regional sourcing, procurement, and material planning activities to support production operations and business objectives. This role manages a team of Buyers and a SC Inventory Manager and is accountable for supplier strategy, contract negotiation, cost management, material availability, and inventory performance across the North American region. The role partners closely with regional and global stakeholders to execute sourcing strategies, strengthen supplier relationships, and deliver measurable cost savings while ensuring supply continuity, quality, and risk mitigation. Strong negotiation capability and commercial acumen are critical to success in this position. This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring regular on-site presence to support operations and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience
  • Demonstrated success in supplier negotiation and contract management
  • Strong understanding of sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and supplier performance management
  • Experience with ERP / MRP systems; Infor LN/M3 experience preferred
  • Advanced negotiation and commercial acumen

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management Lead and develop a regional team ensuring strong performance across sourcing, material costs, inventory levels, and material availability
  • Coach, develop, and build team capabilities through performance management, regular touchpoints, and targeted skill development
  • Establish clear priorities, accountability, and performance metrics aligned to regional and global supply chain objectives
  • Sourcing, Procurement & Negotiation Develop and execute regional sourcing and procurement strategies for raw materials and finished goods from global sources aligned with global frameworks
  • Lead supplier negotiations, including pricing, commercial terms, contracts, and supply agreements, in accordance with company policies
  • Drive cost savings and cost avoidance initiatives that deliver against annual financial targets
  • Manage procurement and sourcing process regionally and support global procurement and sourcing process development
  • Manage supplier selection, qualification, and development in collaboration with Category Management, Quality, Engineering, and Operations
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships through structured supplier scorecards, performance reviews, and business review processes
  • Planning, Inventory & Supply Assurance Build and implement sourcing and inventory strategies that address market trends, supply assurance, quality, sustainability, and supply risk mitigation
  • Partner with planning and production teams to ensure material availability and inventory optimization including 3PL inventories
  • Identify and implement pull-based planning processes using ERP (Infor LN/M3) to enhance material planning operations
  • Strategy, Collaboration & Reporting Partner with regional and global business leaders to support supply chain strategies, improvement initiatives, and execution plans
  • Develop, analyze, forecast and manage raw material and finished good costing including purchase price variance (PPV), freight costs, tariff and duties costs monthly and in support of the Annual Operating Plan
  • Develop and manage department budgets and performance plans in support of the Annual Operating Plan
  • Develop and maintain reporting and documentation related to material costs, inventory, and supplier performance using Microsoft Power BI and Teams
