Unity Lab Services provides integrated lab service, support, and supply management. Our customized offerings and experienced service teams flex to meet each customer’s unique laboratory needs. What will you do? Travel to multiple customer facilities across the Greater Boston region to support scheduled and unscheduled coverage needs. Manage inventory: stockrooms, POU areas, and product dispensing. Support order entry, order expediting, and customer service requests. Handle chemical management including receiving, registration, and tracking. Perform glass wash operations from cleaning through sterilization and inspection. Support dock, receiving, and shipping activities. Drive a culture of process improvement. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service while upholding Thermo Fisher values.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work safely and adapt to varied work environments.
  • May work in areas where chemical-based allergens are present.
  • Regularly lift 30–40 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Use equipment such as pushcarts, pallet jacks, cylinders, and forklifts; may push/pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Long periods of standing, walking, and material handling.
  • Work in varied temperature environments (cold rooms, outdoors, etc.).
  • Ability to work overtime or independently as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in a laboratory environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards preferred.
  • GxP experience and IATA/DOT certification are a plus.
