About The Position

This position will require you to work from an office in your home located within the territory of support which includes Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island. Relocation to the territory is required within 12 weeks of hire. As a Regional Service Representative you will manage and maintain multiple client accounts within your designated territory by expanding relationships within the laboratory to support the Mayo Clinic Laboratories (MCL) business model. Dedicated to being a client advocate, you will promote retention and satisfaction by driving the cross-departmental MCL staff to analyze client feedback to enhance business and operational processes. You will also provide technical onsite visits to support growth and service recovery as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or science.
  • 5 years of clinical laboratory experience in a hospital setting.
  • Ability to travel up to 80%.
  • Leadership, management, and/or outreach experience.
  • Good human relations and communications skills.
  • High level of technical competence and confidence.
  • Adaptable, flexible, creative, dependable, responsible.
  • Customer focused.
  • Ability to manage several projects or tasks simultaneously.
  • Decision making and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to function in a diverse work environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree.
  • Accreditation by a national agency (MT, CLS, MLS, MB, CG, MP or HTL) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain multiple client accounts within the designated territory.
  • Expand relationships within the laboratory to support the Mayo Clinic Laboratories (MCL) business model.
  • Promote retention and satisfaction by analyzing client feedback.
  • Provide technical onsite visits to support growth and service recovery.
  • Manage onboarding activities tailored to new facility's needs.
  • Establish long-standing business relationships with client's various laboratory and pathology departments.
  • Develop an extensive understanding of each client and identify key decision-makers.
  • Actively partner with team members to foster an inclusive work environment.
  • Train clients on electronic ordering applications and MCL's products and services.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives for clients as outlined with territory, operational and business teams.
  • Assist and support outreach initiatives.
  • Identify and promote opportunities to improve test utilization.
  • Provide education and act as liaison to client contacts and MCL/DLMP subject matter experts.
  • Promote test campaigns, projects, and initiatives directed by various departments.
  • Gather insights from clients as requested by internal work groups.
  • Tailor interactions and messaging to fit the client's needs and objectives.
  • Remain accessible to clients and internal staff for timely response and engagement.
  • Coordinate the deployment of Mayo resources efficiently and effectively.
  • Document client interactions.
