Summary: Responsible for meeting revenue and profit goals by generating new business and maintaining existing account relationships.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) and over five years of related experience or extensive product and industry experience. The person will have a working knowledge of industrial manufacturing and the metalworking industry.
  • MS Office, Epicor, and other applicable software.
  • Approximately 50-75% or more.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains contact with customers in the defined territory to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Achieves pre-defined sales targets.
  • In cooperation with management develop short and long-term sales strategies.
  • Utilizes promotions, trade shows and business contacts to seek out prospective accounts.
  • Analyzes prospect's needs and potential sales volume.
  • Completes trip reports after visiting customers and submits to Sales Admin or CRM within five business days.
  • Introduces new products, identifies product applications, and keeps accounts informed of product developments.
  • Assist in preparation of quotations and proposals; follows up and negotiates terms, closes orders.
  • Completes itineraries, expense, sales call, lead and other related reports and records.
  • Support engineering on commercial aspects of projects.
  • Assists engineering, estimating and dealers in meeting the customer expectations for all equipment and parts purchases.
  • Monitor accounts receivables and assist in collections.
