About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience in medical devices or a related industry
  • Proven sales leadership experience with a track record of building and developing teams
  • Demonstrated success exceeding sales and financial targets
  • Strong relationship-building skills across surgeons, hospital systems, and stakeholders
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and drive results in complex healthcare environments
  • Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively and support on-call needs as required
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work in clinical environments, including operating rooms

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Sales experience in spine (medical devices preferred)
  • Experience managing P&L and developing strategic business plans

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing spine sales team across multiple locations
  • Drive territory performance to exceed sales targets, including revenue, growth, and market share
  • Recruit, engage, and retain top sales talent while building a strong team culture
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on product launches, pricing strategies, and market positioning
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, clinicians, and key decision-makers
  • Analyze market trends and sales data to guide strategy and optimize performance
  • Support complex sales efforts, including negotiating and closing key deals
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and overall territory profitability
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
  • Represent VB Spine at industry events, meetings, and customer engagements
