About The Position

Edge Technologies is an automation solutions provider. We are the leading supplier of magazine bar feeding systems for the CNC lathe segment of the machine tool industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete sales function of the company's magazine bar feeder and coolant mist filtration product lines in Texas and Southern Midwest.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent technical school education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A bachelor degree is a plus
  • 3-5 years of technical sales experience, preferably industrial B2B sales
  • Confidence and ability to sell sophisticated machine tools and support the Edge Technologies product line
  • Sales skill, motivation, and focus to gain the trust of dealer salespeople and the ability to collaborate with them as a team to sell engineered solutions.
  • Aptitude to comprehend manufacturing processes and technically qualify the dealer and/or end user
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • Can travel 50%+

Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect and penetrate new accounts by following up on show leads, using industry data, social media, and other networking means
  • Organize your schedule to visit all lathe dealers in your territory regularly.
  • Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with distributors so they promote Edge Technologies as their preferred supplier
  • Maintain proper records and utilize the company's CRM system, Salesforce
  • Qualify dealers and end users on their needs to develop and present the best bar feeding solution
  • Generate quotations based on needs
  • Conduct a contract review on all orders and perform after-sales support as needed to ensure total customer satisfaction
