About The Position

In this role, you will lead the strategic direction for commercial sales across various territories. Your efforts will focus on the development and implementation of successful sales strategies, productivity enhancements, and training for sales staff. You will oversee the achievement of performance targets, ensuring compliance and effectiveness in operational processes. This is a pivotal position that directly influences the overall success of sales performance in your assigned region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience in pharmaceutical sales management may be accepted.
  • 8+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of sales management experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical organizations.
  • 2+ years of experience in Cardiology product launches preferred.
  • Proven success in launching new products and building sales teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Experience in commercializing new products and expanding opportunities.
  • Ability to create and motivate diverse teams.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Travel requirement: Up to 50%-60% including overnight stays.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in Cardiology product launches preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; experience in pharmaceutical sales management may be accepted.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional business plans and budgets.
  • Review performance metrics with leadership to ensure maximum sales results.
  • Plan and conduct meetings with the sales team to inspire and lead effectively.
  • Collaborate with leadership to enhance reimbursement opportunities.
  • Create and manage regional plans, ensuring alignment with budget goals.
  • Evaluate account management performance against budget for resource allocation.
  • Work in the field with Territory Managers, providing coaching and support.
  • Complete necessary training and policy requirements timely.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company values.
