About The Position

This role is dedicated to promoting and supporting the sales and education of Axis Communications products, solutions, and services in Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas. The Regional Sales Manager will engage integrators, distributors, consultants, and end-users, delivering expert knowledge to optimize the use of network cameras, analytics, access control, IP audio, and video management software.

Requirements

  • Strong sales acumen with excellent listening and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, motivated, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficient in the Salesforce Cloud platform.
  • Ability to motivate others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Charismatic, competitive, and efficient.
  • Strong public speaking skills.
  • Effective multitasking and time management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in IT Networks.
  • 5+ years in a sales-focused role.
  • Strong technical background.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cameras, Access Control, and IP network systems.
  • Knowledge of design applications.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and educate clients on the benefits of IP Video and Axis cameras.
  • Build and maintain proactive relationships with both potential and existing customers.
  • Schedule and lead product demonstrations, presentations, and educational events.
  • Collaborate with Axis Communications’ Application Development Partners.
  • Qualify prospects to prioritize time effectively.
  • Advise on camera solutions and provide product comparisons.
  • Encourage enrollment in Axis partner programs.
  • Participate actively in trade shows, seminars, Axis Academies, webinars, and sales activities.
  • Stay informed on industry developments.
  • Prepare weekly sales reports on new and ongoing projects.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
