About The Position

Precision Diagnostics, based in San Diego, California is a fast-growing clinical laboratory that specializes in providing drug testing, primarily for the purpose of helping physicians monitor their patients’ undergoing treatment for pain or substance abuse. Precision’s objective is to improve patient adherence/compliance with their prescription regimen and protect medical practices from liability. The Regional Sales Manager is the leader of a selling team within a geographic area. The Regional Sales Manager plays an integral role in ensuring the organization achieves its business goals through direction, coaching, and development of the field staff within their region.

Requirements

  • Become fluent in Microsoft 365 (formerly Office635) applications assigned to your role. Common applications include Teams, Word, Excel, Tasks and Planner.
  • Complete training in a timely manner that is assigned to you. Training is primarily conducted via Microsoft Learn modules and is assigned based on:
  • Position/Job Role - Most positions require a core set of Microsoft 365 working knowledge
  • Project Role – As member of a project team, you may be required to complete training before you can engage with the project team or commence project work
  • Ad-Hoc – Based on review of your performance via support requests, training modules will be assigned to increase skills
  • In field ride-alongs and overnights within the region are required to ensure training and coaching occurs with all team members.
  • Must be able to sit at a desk for prolonged periods and working on a computer.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue and contribution margin goals for each territory within the region on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Continuously grow profit margins.
  • Develop net new profitable territories in coordination with the Director, Sales.
  • Improve percentage of paid claims for each territory.
  • Conduct business in a manner compliant with Precision’s Core Values so that our culture can continually fulfill customer and employee needs.
  • Identify and measure improvements of each team member using task relevant maturity models.
  • Coach territory managers & account managers to maximize individuals’ capacity within the task relevant maturity level.
  • Be a change advocate within the Regional Sales Manager team as measured by increased or decreased productivity in team member interactions.
  • Prioritize and obtain executive leadership alignment on urgent and important rework based on impact to the throughput of paid claims.
  • Consistently develop career and responsibility achievement goals for each team member.
  • Make quarterly visits to the top 15 accounts within the region as measured by Contribution Margin.
  • Partner with Field Operations, IT, Supply Chain and other Precision departments to minimize the cost of servicing our customers
  • Perform in-person field visits with each team member at least 2 times per quarter, including within first 30 days of a team member’s hire date.
  • Increase the talent pool for the purpose of succession planning.
  • Follow and comply with all policies
