About The Position

This position covers South Florida. Are you ready to be a part of a talented team and enjoy introducing innovative technology to veterinary practitioners? Jorgensen Laboratories LLC, a specialty instruments, capital equipment and medical supply company is seeking an initiative-taking, experienced, energetic, and creative candidate as Regional Sales Manager for the South Florida territory. This position reports to the National Sales Manager. Position Overview: Demand creation and grow sales in territory. Meet and exceed individual sales goals and budget. Responsible for selling equipment and supplies through distributors to veterinary clinics. Support distributor reps and provide training as needed. Attend regional distributor sales meetings and participate in training events. Organize seminars, educational meetings, CE events etc. with targeted veterinarians. Develop relationships with veterinary schools (faculty, students etc.). Provide regular feedback to management. Have solid knowledge of product line and services offered. Represent Jorgensen at various trade shows and meetings. Prepare and make presentations at National Sales Meetings. Provide input/feedback on marketing programs and material. Overnight travel required. (25 to 50%).

Requirements

  • Experience: 6 to 10 years
  • Travel: 25-50%
  • Minimum Degree: Relevant College Degree is a requirement.

Nice To Haves

  • Animal health industry experience required. Previous job experience as a Veterinary Technician, Distributor rep, Equipment specialist or Veterinary Technician is preferred.
  • Experience in developing, managing, and maintaining strong distributor partner relationships.
  • Consistent and solid performance record in prior sales roles including increased level of responsibility.
  • Candidate must demonstrate initiative and accomplish goals with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the medical, operational, and business side of veterinary practice.
  • Understanding of social media and Web-based Marketing.
  • Experience with cloud-based CRM, Sales Tracking and Data software.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Spanish would be considered a plus.

  • The base salary range for this position is 95K-110k. Actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location.
