About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for achieving commercial growth goals within a defined multi-state territory by developing new business relationships while managing and expanding existing customer accounts. Acting as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador, the RSM will identify new sales opportunities, deliver customized logistics solutions, and ensure the highest level of service excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in International Freight Forwarding sales and brings a proven ability to cultivate meaningful business relationships, and a strategic, solutions-focused mindset.

Requirements

  • Sales experience in international freight forwarding, NVOCC, air freight, customs brokerage, and 3PL services.
  • In-depth knowledge of global logistics and proven experience selling customs brokerage services.
  • Strong network of pre-existing relationships with import/export shippers.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage a sales pipeline across various deal sizes, industries, and service types.
  • Consultative sales style with a solutions-oriented mindset; able to move clients up the value chain.
  • Recognized as an industry expert and trusted advisor to clients on global logistics best practices.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and collaborative team player.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed annual sales growth targets through new customer acquisition and account expansion.
  • Represent the Atlanta market and surrounding territory (western GA, TN, AL, MS, northwest FL) with professionalism and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline spanning various stages, verticals, and service offerings.
  • Initiate and nurture new customer relationships, conduct sales visits, and lead customer QBRs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop pricing proposals, prepare quotations, and ensure smooth customer onboarding and implementation.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to build brand presence and develop leads.
  • Maintain CRM records, prepare sales reports, and participate in regular sales meetings with the commercial team.
  • Monitor and manage sales expenses in line with ROI expectations.
