About The Position

This position is intended to perform administrative functions, sales functions, and activities to ensure the endoscopy sales region performs optimally. Develops, directs, and manages a strategic plan for the business model to ensure the region accomplishes the business plan and achieves corporate goals. Partner with the management team to ensure the best possible service and effective communications to employees and customers. This role will cover the western US market. The ideal candidate will reside within one of these locations: Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Portland, Bay Area, Los Angeles Area, San Diego.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in a strategic selling environment.
  • Medical Device Sales Management experience ideally within Endoscopy required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related quantitative disciplines, advanced degree preferred.
  • Ability to research and analyze various types of data information and make sound business judgments, plans, and sales policies.
  • Ability to prioritize work, and effectively manage time and regional budget requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Able to professionally communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to write reports and relay information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ability to prioritize customers.
  • Ability to speak professionally and relay technical information accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Achieves annual sales plan and budget in support of organizational strategy and develops field sales action plans to facilitate the implementation of the regional sales programs.
  • Ensure the delivery of targets through individual recognition, performance review, people management, and reward.
  • Manages the performance of a team of Direct Sales Representatives and Clinical Markets, distributes and services FPO’s endoscopy products in North America.
  • Ensures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives, and meets organizational expenditure.
  • Recommends sales and market strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor.
  • Implements approved distribution strategies, pursue new business, and develop new methods of attaining.
  • Builds, develops and manages a sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service.
  • Maintains complete working knowledge of the entire market and provides accurate reports to management in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Participate in interviews and the processes of recruiting new employees.
  • Perform any other jobs/functions as requested by RVP or HCUS-ES.
  • Adhere and enforce all safety policies.
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements, and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Comply with and pass all requirements for vendor credentialing as part of gaining access to hospitals and facilities to perform assigned job duties.
