About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager for World's Finest Chocolate will drive sales growth and promote fundraising success in the Western US. This role involves leading and motivating a team of Independent Sales Representatives (ISRs), supporting customers, and building community relationships. The manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, and developing the sales team while ensuring that sales goals are met through strategic planning and effective communication.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated history of new business development and sales success.
  • At least five years of experience as a sales leader or in Sales Management.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Psychology/Consumer Behavior, or relevant work experience.
  • Strong desire to win business and exceed sales goals.
  • Ability to work with a diverse customer base including school administrators, parents, and community organizations.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous professional fundraising experience.
  • Technical expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, MapBusinessOnline, Salesforce, and social media platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Independent Sales Representatives (ISRs) to achieve sales growth.
  • Recruit, train, and develop ISRs to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct sales analysis and reporting to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Travel regularly throughout the region to work with ISRs and customers, up to 50% of the time.
  • Motivate the sales force to meet territory expectations and coordinate local conventions and ideas.
  • Organize and lead Regional Sales Meetings with the ISR team throughout the year.
  • Represent World's Finest Chocolate at conventions and trade shows, setting up and engaging with attendees.
  • Resolve conflicts and escalated issues within the region and between ISRs and customers.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Logistics, and other departments to meet customer deadlines and expectations.
  • Develop strategic plans for sales in unproductive areas and identify new opportunities for growth.
