About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager - Vinyl Products is responsible for leading profitable sales growth of the GF Building Flow Solutions -Vinyl business for the West Region. The Regional Sales Manager will lead sales initiatives for CPVC and PVC piping systems and manage strategic wholesale distribution partnerships across California, Nevada, and Arizona. The ideal candidate will reside in Southern California and have a strong understanding of the plumbing, industrial piping, or mechanical contracting industry. This role combines direct sales with account management, focusing on driving product adoption, maintaining strong relationships with wholesale partners, and expanding market share in the assigned territory. Working in collaboration with local factory teams, agency partners where applicable, and the National Account team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5-7 years’ related experience.
  • Knowledge of major account selling and the construction market.
  • Experience in wholesale distribution and an understanding of the independent manufacturer rep model.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% monthly.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of GF-BFS Vinyl products to wholesale distributors, contractors, and end users.
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities, leads, and potential partnerships across CA, NV, and AZ.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key wholesale partners, including training, support, and joint business planning.
  • Monitor partner performance and ensure alignment with company goals and brand positioning.
  • Provide product knowledge and technical support.
  • Travel regularly within the region to meet with clients, attend trade events, and support distributor activity.
  • Maintain an active presence in the market through site visits, events, and relationship building.
  • Report on sales activity, market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts to leadership.
