About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager at Helukabel USA Inc. is responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies for the St. Louis, Missouri region. This role requires a motivated self-starter who can effectively engage with OEM customers, integrators, contractors, and distributors to meet sales quotas and drive business growth. The position involves both direct and channel sales activities, training sessions, and collaboration with various teams to enhance product knowledge and market presence.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of industrial sales experience, preferably in outside sales.
  • Understanding of the St. Louis metro customer base and industrial automation.
  • Experience with industrial wire and cable products is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of industrial plant automation and related applications.
  • Experience working with electrical distribution and channel partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer relationships in various industries.
  • Proficiency in SAP CRM and Microsoft Office tools for reporting and presentations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to execute sales strategies effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in technical applications for industrial cable.
  • Knowledge of VFDs, servos, PLCs, and data communication.
  • Experience in cable assembly and harnesses.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for the St. Louis region.
  • Meet/exceed regional sales quota of HELUKABEL® products and corporate strategy.
  • Execute direct and channel sales calls with OEM/MRO, Integrator, Contractor, and Distributors.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions at customer sites.
  • Collaborate with Senior RSM, RSD, Inside Sales, and Marketing Team.
  • Become proficient in industrial wire and cable solutions across various vertical markets.
  • Utilize and train on SAP CRM database processes for activities and leads.
  • Provide forecasts and budget updates to management.
  • Follow-up on leads, quotations, and orders within the territory.
  • Provide timely expense reports and sales activity tracking.
  • Monitor competition and market trends relevant to the territory.
