About The Position

The purpose of the Regional Sales Manager is to build and develop a sales team to execute the strategic plan for the assigned sales region. The role involves achieving growth and hitting annual regional sales budgets by successfully managing the sales team, designing and implementing strategic business plans, and ensuring a strong market presence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in similar title and scope of responsibility required.
  • Valid driver’s license – required.
  • Valid passport - required.
  • Proficiency in English required.
  • Bi-Lingual – Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve growth and hit annual regional sales budget by successfully managing the sales team.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base.
  • Responsible for recruiting new sales reps, setting their annual objectives, coaching and performance monitoring of sales reps.
  • Work with the corporate team to set a positive tone between the sales team and customer service, credit, logistics, and product management.
  • Review all documents from customers that may need legal review including contracts and agreements.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs.
  • Work with sales team to present accurate volume budgets on an annual basis.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being aware of new products and competition status.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, development, and motivation to staff to achieve superior results.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
