Position Purpose This position is responsible for increasing call activity and relationship building in line with equipment decision-making for designated National Account customers. This position is also responsible for helping achieve sales target in assigned APR based on the Five-Year Plan. This position is responsible for covering the assigned territory. Territory consists of Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Five plus years of relevant sales experience in the industry
  • Demonstrated success with meeting sales targets and goals
  • Must pass any drug screens, background checks and any pre-employments tests as applicable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Comfortable in an in-person office environment
  • Must be customer service oriented, flexible, and have a high energy level
  • Must have excellent follow-through skills
  • Must have a professional, polished, and sophisticated demeanor and be comfortable in most social settings
  • Must be open to domestic and international travel
  • Desire and proven ability to learn and grow

Responsibilities

  • Generate retail sales from national rental branches in assigned area of primary responsibility
  • Conduct training and demonstrations as required
  • “Cold call” canvas new/potential rental house customers as appropriate
  • Guide/direct with Regional Sales Manager’s call strategy on ARA rental houses through JCB dealers
  • Provide JCB North America headquarters with competitive intelligence from assigned area of primary responsibility
  • Forecast, track and report rental activities to management
  • Continually identify area of opportunity and develop strategies to improve revenue and overall profitability
  • Understand the key performance indicators that leverage our rental customer’s business
  • Field based with travel as required in support of team projects, KPI’s and/or development of assigned accounts
  • Maintain and up-to-date understanding of JCB products to facilitate sales efforts that affect target markets
