About The Position

Since 1948, Follett Products, LLC, has led the industry in designing and manufacturing high-quality, innovative ice storage bins, ice storage and transport systems, ice machines, ice and water dispensers, ice and beverage dispensers, and medical-grade refrigerators and freezers for the food service and healthcare industries. Follett currently has an opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager - FS Middleby Ice (West) to join our Team! The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for driving sales growth and brand presence for Middleby Ice Solutions (MIS) products across the assigned territory. This individual will manage relationships with dealers, distributors, channel partners, foodservice consultants, and end users while executing strategic sales initiatives to achieve revenue and market share objectives. The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales professional with deep knowledge of the commercial foodservice equipment industry, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to translate customer needs into business opportunities. This position is a remote position and requires 50% travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience) required,
  • 2+ years of sales experience in commercial foodservice equipment, refrigeration, or HVAC industries.
  • Proven record of achieving or exceeding territory sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of channel sales management and B2B distribution models.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel 50–70% within the assigned region.
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker with strong organizational and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for the assigned region in alignment with overall company goals.
  • Create annual sales plans with clear objectives, targets, and action plans.
  • Train, travel with, and support external rep groups.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify customer needs and provide solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within the region.
  • Stay informed about competitor activities and market dynamics.
  • Use market intelligence to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics for the region.
  • Implement corrective actions and improvements based on performance analysis.
  • Provide regular reports to higher management on regional sales performance.
  • Ensure effective allocation of resources to meet sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, production, and other departments to ensure coordinated efforts in achieving overall business objectives.
  • Provide feedback to improve product offerings and address market needs.
  • Special projects as assigned.
