Cerelia is seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager – West to accelerate foodservice sales growth across the Western U.S. You’ll hunt for new opportunities, strengthen strategic accounts, and help bring best-in-class bakery solutions to customers who value quality, consistency, and innovation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of food industry sales experience, ideally foodservice (national accounts, convenience, etc.).
  • Strong experience managing distributor and broker relationships.
  • Proven record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Analytical mindset: able to assess data, develop insights, and translate them into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communicator with strong customer service skills.
  • Acts with integrity and upholds high ethical standards.
  • Confident decision-maker with sound judgment and collaborative instincts.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Creative, adaptable, and solutions-oriented in partnership with internal and external teams.
  • Motivates and encourages others to achieve excellence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3–5 years of foodservice sales experience and/or private brand experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent phone, presentation, and customer relationship skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and sales software.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business growth within foodservice by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy that meets and exceeds revenue goals.
  • Build and grow relationships with key accounts, distributors, channel partners, and brokers.
  • Collaborate with distributor and broker partners to optimize sales performance.
  • Provide market insights and recommendations related to product positioning, pricing, and promotional strategy.
  • Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to support regional and national planning.
