About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager for the Eastern Territory at SCRAM Systems is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and developing new customer relationships within the assigned states of Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, and West Virginia. This remote position requires a strong focus on sales growth strategies, territory management, and customer engagement to meet or exceed revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2 years of proven successful sales experience
  • Knowledge of criminal justice/public safety industry is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Formalized sales training
  • Demonstrated ability to convey a strong value proposition
  • Strong understanding of government procurement including RFP and Bid process
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a 'can do' attitude
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, coordination and implementation of sales growth strategies with the Director of Sales
  • Engage in daily sales activity within assigned territory to ensure meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Gather input from Director of Sales and Customer Services prior to each customer visit to address critical areas or concerns
  • Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals to Director of Sales
  • Manage territory with the ability to set short and long-term sales strategies
  • Provide direct creative support to internal partners, government agencies and prospects
  • Evaluate customer's operations and identify ways to drive increased sales and operations efficiency
  • Listen to customer concerns and develop plans for resolution and follow-up
  • Identify new ideas and improvements to SCRAM Systems programs
  • Assist with the replacement of older product versions with new technologies
  • Position and sell new SCRAM software applications to partners and government agencies
  • Manage customer accounts receivables issues
  • Participate in internal and customer-facing conference calls and webinars
  • Provide conference/tradeshow support as needed
