About The Position

Deceuninck is seeking a Regional Sales Manager. This position will manage the sales activities of assigned accounts, create new accounts and expand the Deceuninck product profiles and window systems in each account. Region is Central Region.

Requirements

  • Minimum of four years related Sales Account Management experience
  • Working within Monroe, Ohio is desired, within Sales region is required
  • Industry knowledge a plus

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree preferred
  • Concentration in sales and/or marketing preferred

Responsibilities

  • Regularly visit assigned customers to develop personal relationships with the principal contacts and determine their needs in order to retain & grow the accounts
  • Arrange the completion of business activities to meet customer needs, including understanding exactly what activity is necessary, determining the proper teammate responsible to complete the activity, and communicating the details to the responsible teammate
  • Coordinate the timely completion of the activity
  • Support the growth of assigned customers by advocating the development of their own product & marketing strategies and matching those strategies to existing or additional Deceuninck North America products
  • Advise the customer's dealers and distributors concerning sales and marketing techniques
  • Work with customers to develop sales forecasts and set performance goals
  • Support product simplification and standardization (SKU reductions) to improve customer manufacturing efficiency
  • Aggressively seek and develop a new customer base
  • Establish and execute sales programs and contracts in accordance with approved policies
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote product and obtain sales leads
  • Meet with prospective customers to develop relationships, determine product needs, deliver sales presentations, and negotiate/close business agreements
  • Participate in periodic sales meetings to discuss strategies for obtaining increased sales and client base expansion
  • Listen to customers and other industry suppliers to obtain ideas for new product research and development
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition
  • Communicate the sales related activities of each assigned account with DNA management members
  • Establish or adjust work and travel schedule to meet account management and business development requirements
  • Support and aid the development and implementation of strategic sales plan to accommodate corporate goals
  • Provide business development market analyses for determination of customer price schedules and discount rates
  • Complete travel expense reports in accordance with company policies
  • Control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements
  • Travel may be 70% or greater
