About The Position

In this position, you will achieve sales goals for CADDY Commercial Electrical (CCI) and Gardner Bender business across several states, including Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Western Pennsylvania. Your role will involve converting new business primarily from projects and new product sales, leading sales agents, building relationships with key end-user customers and distributor partners, and providing expertise in product usage. You will also develop sales strategies, communicate competitive feedback, and utilize Salesforce to manage the opportunity pipeline. This position is remote, with travel expected within the region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred in outside sales.
  • 5+ years of outside sales and/or territory management in the commercial electrical space.
  • Ability to work 100% remotely and travel 50-60% within the region.
  • Experience working with end-user customers on projects.
  • Ability to lead direct reports and/or sales agents.
  • Experience with a customer relationship management system, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Organizational and time management skills with a passion for collaboration.
  • Strong preference for technical sales and value-based selling.
  • Ability to walk/navigate a construction project.

  • Deliver and refine presentations highlighting benefits and value propositions.
  • Develop sales strategies and tactical plans to achieve regional sales targets.
  • Communicate competitive feedback and market dynamics internally.
  • Use Salesforce to manage the opportunity pipeline.
