About The Position

In this position, you will achieve sales goals for CADDY Commercial Electrical (CCI) and Gardner Bender business in the states of Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, and the Western Pennsylvania region by successfully converting new business, primarily from projects and new product sales. You will actively lead sales agents, set goals with territory strategy, build relationships across all levels of key end-user customers and distributor partners, provide expertise in the use of products, and coordinate training of key contractors. Additionally, you will deliver and refine presentations, develop sales strategies, communicate competitive feedback, and use Salesforce to manage the opportunity pipeline.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred in outside sales.
  • 5+ years of outside sales and/or territory management in the commercial electrical space.
  • Ability to work 100% remotely from a home office in the sales region.
  • Travel 50-60% within the region; regular overnight trips expected.
  • Current and valid driver's license required.
  • Experience working with end-user customers on projects.
  • Ability to lead direct reports and/or sales agents/manufacturing sales partners.
  • Experience with a customer relationship management system, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Organizational and time management skills with a passion for collaboration.
  • Strong preference for technical sales and value-based selling.
  • Ability to walk/navigate a construction project.
