About The Position
The Regional Sales Manager is a pivotal role at Nutramax Laboratories, responsible for driving sales growth through effective communication and relationship-building with distributor representatives and veterinarians. This position requires a proactive approach to ensure that Nutramax's veterinary products are recommended and utilized appropriately, thereby contributing to the overall business growth of the company. The Regional Sales Manager will engage in various activities, including training distributor representatives on product knowledge and technical aspects, assisting in the launch of new products, and providing support to call centers to ensure they are equipped with the necessary materials to serve their customers effectively. In addition to training and support, the Regional Sales Manager will visit veterinarian offices to promote products, offering detailed information, samples, and conducting educational seminars. This role also involves scheduling and conducting dinner meetings with distributor representatives to foster relationships and enhance product visibility. Collaboration with the Technical Service Veterinarian is essential, as the Regional Sales Manager will work together to arrange meetings with key staff at veterinary schools and host symposiums to educate veterinary students about Nutramax's offerings. The position requires the management of a yearly budget dedicated to marketing activities aimed at launching and sustaining veterinary products in the field. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for providing timely and informative reports to the home office, detailing industry changes and competitive insights. Effective communication and teamwork are crucial, as the role involves interacting with various departments within the organization to meet company objectives.
