About The Position

This remote, field -based Sales Executive position focuses on the Trade Channel for a global lighting manufacturer with a significant United States presence. The role is specifically designed for a Dallas -Fort Worth sales professional who possesses a deep understanding of the electrical distribution landscape and a passion for securing project -based opportunities. Operating independently within the DFW territory, the Sales Executive manages established accounts with electrical distributors and authorized sales partners while aggressively pursuing new market share through industrial and commercial lighting projects. The primary objective of this position is to manage and grow a defined sales territory with complete ownership of revenue and margin results. This involves calling on electrical distributors and partner agencies to drive incremental growth and developing opportunities for whole -building projects in both new construction and renovation sectors. The Sales Executive operates autonomously in the field to identify leads, advance the sales pipeline, and close business across the public and private sectors. Success in this role requires the ability to engage diverse stakeholders, from executive decision -makers to on -site personnel, while positioning value -driven lighting solutions that satisfy complex project requirements.

Requirements

  • Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field and possess three to five years of proven B2B sales experience.
  • A background in the lighting or electrical industry is strongly preferred for this role.
  • Applicants must demonstrate a track record of prospecting and managing a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools like Salesforce and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • This home -based role requires a self -motivated professional who can gather actionable market intelligence and collaborate cross -functionally while maintaining high levels of field autonomy within the Dallas -Fort Worth market.
