About The Position

The Regional Sales Excellence Director is responsible for supporting the Area Vice Presidents, General Managers and Sales Managers in their local sales and marketing efforts. The Field Sales Director will work directly with the Sales Managers within their specific markets to analyze the market and local competitors, write local sales and marketing plans, create smart goals to measure success, and train and assist the Sales Managers with the sales process, CRM utilization, on and off-site events and business development. The Field Sales Director will assist in building local referral relationships such as senior living companies, houses of worship, industry professionals, hospitals, and hospice organizations to drive local awareness and direct referrals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in Business Development and sales
  • Experience with working in a matrix organization.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • Proven track record for obtaining business results through the development of effective external relationships within the organization and across other business functions.
  • Work is non-standardized and widely varied, involving many complex and significant variables. Analytic ability and independent judgment are required to devise new methods in situations where previously accepted methods have proven inadequate.
  • Ability to develop new and effective methods of increasing sales in a competitive environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

  • Ability to use PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and CRM

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing a local sales and marketing plan for each of the sales managers to maximize revenue growth and execute SMART goals to reach or exceed their budget.
  • Meet and exceed goals set for each location’s sales basics metrics including appointments, lead generation, deals generated and closed and business development.
  • Manage and hold staff accountable for achieving key sales metrics.
  • Train staff in specific markets on event execution, sales closing, CRM usage, and business development.
  • Hold weekly video conference calls with sales managers and counselors as needed for training and accountability.
  • Review and maintain strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Work with learning and development as needed to determine training areas of opportunity, create presentations in partnership with L&D, and execute on training in the field. .
  • Ensure integrity throughout relationships.
  • Meet and work with location teams to recognize and discuss current and future needs of region and specific locations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by VP of Sales
