Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 7+ years HVAC systems and applications experience preferably with Custom or Commercial Air Handling Units.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and computer skills to include: Advanced AutoCAD proficiency, Inventor knowledge, Microsoft office suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to recognize sales opportunities.
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal customers.
  • Ability to travel 25-30%.

Responsibilities

  • Profitably grow the York brands of Custom Air Handling (YC) and Standard Solution (XT) products.
  • Coordinate with EqNA channel sales leadership to set volume objectives.
  • Develop and implement activities and strategies to continually increase top line revenue, maximize margins and increase market share.
  • Provide engineered support, selections, and equipment pricing to the EqNA Channel sales team.
  • Develop and provide detailed engineering information to communicate design, configuration, operation, and installation requirements to consulting engineers.
  • Collaborate with the Channel Sales Director, Product Director, and fellow Regional Sales Manager teammates.
  • Drive sales by providing technical sales support to customers, branches, agents, and consulting engineers.
  • Manage projects from concept to shipment and follow-up regularly to ensure projects are completed expeditiously.
  • Assist the field sales organization in providing specification and competitive analysis.
  • Provide technical application support to the field sales organization on all aspects of YC and XT Air Handling units.
  • Coordinate customer requests with factory for submittal documents, including quality AutoCAD drawings and special quotations.
  • Develop technical documents to support field sales on various areas of air handling application as necessary.
  • Maintain updated reports and status of each project, including sales forecasting.
