Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and strengthen long-term relationships with key decision-makers at strategic accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue and market share within the assigned region.
  • Identify and target key accounts, including EPCs, developers, and Asset Owners, for significant growth opportunities.
  • Analyze customer data and market trends to proactively identify and address customer needs.
  • Collaborate with sales executives and management to develop and implement strategic sales approaches.
  • Support marketing efforts to promote product and service features, benefits, and value propositions.
  • Attend industry conferences and trade shows to promote products, expand the company's network, and build relationships.
  • Research and identify key contacts within target accounts to generate interest and drive sales.
  • Maintain and expand a database of prospects within assigned territories and business lines.
  • Lead the sales process from initial contact through contract negotiation and closing.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to the specific needs of key accounts.
  • Negotiate credit terms, pricing, and prepare sales order reports and documentation.
  • Close sales and consistently meet or exceed quotas and targets.
  • Utilize Salesforce or other Customer Management Systems (CMS) to track and manage leads, opportunities, and sales performance.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas, particularly in the solar racking industry.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably within engineering or business fields.
  • 8-10 years of solar sales experience.
  • A proven track record of fixed tilt and especially strong with single axis tracker sales and possess existing relationships at the executive level within customer organizations.
  • Proficient understanding of the solar energy market, including solar tracking technology, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong technical understanding of solar PV systems and related components.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
