About The Position

Reporting to the Sr. Sales Director - West North America, the Regional Sales Director for Channel Sales Executives holds a key position that requires a dynamic individual who is knowledgeable and passionate about Video Security & Access Control. This individual will be a strong positive leader, highly customer focused, efficient, and results oriented. This role will be responsible for leading the Channel Sales Executive team covering the North Texas/Oklahoma territory.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in one of the following: Sales, Video or Physical Security.
  • 1+ years of Leadership experience.
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop and empower employees to achieve objectives, with a team-first approach.
  • Proven team player with success collaborating with multiple departments while maintaining tact and diplomacy that lead to successful results.
  • Strong understanding of our go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy with proven funnel development through aggressive prospecting.
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to speak towards our products and solutions; technical background to include networking protocols, network equipment configuration.
  • Proven record of achievement in delivering sales results and developing collaborative relationships.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time management skills are required, and candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional presentation skills required.
  • Ability to solve complex problems which may require unique solutions which are used across geographies, industries, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Physical security solutions experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the regional team helping them be successful.
  • Drive, coach and mentor the regional team on prospecting for net new customers.
  • Create, nurture and respond to sales opportunities with regional team members and help close sales orders.
  • Establish quarterly and annual sales objectives for all territories within the Region in coordination with the Senior Sales Director and Vice President of Sales – North America.
  • Promote and sell Motorola products and services through direct customer contact within the assigned geographic territory.
  • Conduct sales calls, schedule 'local' promotional work and regularly with discipline track sales activities with all channel and end user opportunities using Salesforce.com lead and project tracking software database.
  • Supervise and manage the Regional Sales team for successful performance of job duties as detailed in the respective job description.
  • Oversee and manage the sale of products and services within the specified territory.
  • Provide feedback from end user customer requirements to engineering and operations departments to help implement product improvements and new product releases.
  • Other duties as assigned.
