About The Position

SimpliGov is seeking experienced Regional Sales Directors to drive digital transformation in the public sector through its innovative cloud-based workflow automation platform. This role is crucial for expanding SimpliGov's presence in key regional markets, particularly focusing on State agencies and departments. The position involves managing the complete sales process, building strong client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of quota-carrying SaaS experience, with a focus on public sector sales at the state, local, or federal level.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Content Services Platforms (CSP) and/or Intelligent Process Management (IPM), particularly in workflow automation and forms management.
  • Possess a hunter sales mentality with a strong desire to be successful.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and confident, with a proactive approach to prospecting to build and maintain a healthy pipeline.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to develop relationships and work extensively at the executive level.
  • Enthusiastic about working in a startup environment and contributing to the digital transformation of the public sector.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete sales process from prospecting and qualifying leads to closing deals and achieving revenue targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through a consultative solution sales process, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
  • Work closely with SimpliGov's Customer Success, Operations, and Executive teams to provide account management to an existing territory.
  • Track customer information, forecasts, and reports using Salesforce, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Build and maintain prospect and customer lists using strategic marketing data and other sources for sales leads.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent achievement of quarterly and annual targets.
