About The Position

The Regional Sales Director reports to VP, ORS Sales and provides overall direction and leadership to regional sales executives and regional sales managers within a specific geography. This position is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new staff within the assigned function, overseeing the daily workflow of the department, providing constructive and timely performance evaluations, and handling coaching, discipline, and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. The role also involves collaborating with other functions and team leadership to ensure a cohesive team approach for execution and performance improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or another related field or combined education & equivalent sales experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in outside Office Refreshment sales, sales management or similar.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvements.
  • Strong influencing, negotiation and relationship building skills.
  • Proven strong analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under strict time constraints.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite and systems.
  • Ability to travel, as required and regularly requiring overnight stays to travel to customer locations, attend meetings, training and other work-related events as scheduled.
  • Ability to successfully complete the pre-employment process.

Nice To Haves

  • Sales team leadership experience.
  • Prior experience with C4C or other relevant CRM platforms.
  • Office Refreshment Service experience.
  • Coffee or other beverage related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide sales leadership to the sales team by effectively communicating company goals, initiatives, and strategy.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy for their sales team to achieve the company's overall plan.
  • Monitor individual sales team attack plans and check progress regularly.
  • Adhere to a regular meeting cadence to create accountability within the team with one-on-one meetings and monthly work withs.
  • Contribute to selling process for highest-priority regional accounts as needed.
  • Drive performance by holding individual Regional Sales team members accountable for meeting both their defined KPI activities and objective results.
  • Oversee C4C funnel activities and metrics.
  • Maintain a pipeline of talent in their market to minimize the length of time that any territory may be left open from either a voluntary or involuntary departure.
  • All other duties as assigned.
