About The Position

Fresh & Ready Foods is a member of Canteen, which sets the national standard for excellence in automated retail. This position is for a Regional Sales Director focusing on new business development for commissary sales across key channels such as grocery, regional airports/airlines, convenience/retail stores, and self-operated healthcare, education, and hospitality. The role involves introducing a chef-crafted portfolio of ready-to-eat food products. Requirements

• Self-motivated hunter with a track record of exceeding quota in foodservice/CPG or fresh prepared/grab and go sales.
• Experience with converting self-operated prospects in healthcare, education, grocery & convenience chains, hospitality, and airport/airline concessions.
• Excellent communication, discovery, and presentation skills; consultative and solutions-oriented.
• Strong command of sales cycles required to close multi-site and/or multi-stakeholder deals.
• Operational fluency in pack sizes, shelf life, logistics windows, and appreciation for QA/food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop a territory plan to maximize net new revenue across priority and self-operated verticals.
• Run full cycle selling including targeted prospecting, discovery & menu gap analysis, solution design, pricing, sampling/tastings, RFPs, contracting, launch, and post-launch optimization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Culinary, QA, Production, and Logistics to ensure specs and service levels align with food safety standards.
• Build data-driven category stories and present compelling business cases to multi-stakeholder buying teams.
• Maintain accurate CRM pipeline, forecasts, and next steps; provide weekly KPI updates and quarterly business reviews.
• Represent the brand at regional industry events and trade shows.
