About The Position

Fresh & Ready, a group of private label food companies, part of Canteen, a division of Compass Group North America, has a Regional Sales Director position available focusing exclusively on new business development for commissary sales across key channels—grocery, regional airports/airlines, convenience/retail stores, and self operated healthcare, education, and hospitality—introducing a chef crafted portfolio of ready to eat sandwiches, salads, wraps, entrées, snack packs, and box lunches that operators can deploy at scale. Requirements

  • Self motivated hunter with a track record of exceeding quota in foodservice/CPG or fresh prepared/grab and go sales.
  • Experience with converting self operated prospects in one or more of: healthcare, education, grocery & convenience chains, hospitality (resorts/casinos), airport/airline concessions verticals.
  • Excellent communication, discovery, and presentation skills; consultative and solutions oriented with high emotional intelligence for self operated client base.
  • Strong command of sales cycles required to close multi site and/or multi stakeholder deals; disciplined CRM usage.
  • Operational fluency (pack sizes, shelf life, logistics windows) and appreciation for QA/food safety standards in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a territory plan to maximize net new revenue across priority and self operated verticals (grocery, healthcare, education, convenience/retail, hospitality/resorts/casinos, airports/airlines).
  • Run full cycle selling: targeted prospecting, discovery & menu gap analysis, solution design (assortment/pack size/shelf life), pricing, sampling/tastings, RFPs, contracting, launch, and post launch optimization.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Culinary, QA, Production, and Logistics to ensure specs and service levels align with Canteen Commissary food safety standards and operational capabilities.
  • Build data driven category stories—sell through, margin, waste reduction, and labor savings—and present compelling business cases to multi stakeholder buying teams.
  • Maintain accurate CRM pipeline, forecasts, and next steps; provide weekly KPI updates and quarterly business reviews.
  • Represent the brand at regional industry events and trade shows; consistently communicate our sustainability and food safety commitments.
