About The Position

The Regional Sales Assistant supports the Market Director and the Food Service Distributor Business Managers (DBMs) in assigned regions.

  • Sporadic travel and driving to food shows required as needed. Up to 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and coordinate for food shows by sending out invitations, completing paperwork, collecting allowances, entering them on the website, ordering POS, samples, electricity, tables, and/or carpet.
  • Order marketing materials, stocking lists, and product tags; enter details of non-segmented food shows into CRM as a Sales Accelerant.
  • In conjunction with the DBM, prepare and maintain Product Guides/Stocking Lists for each distributor. Monitor and approve all changes.
  • Prepare new item forms by working with the Customer Service Department and Corporate Client Coordinators (C3s) to obtain setup and nutritional information for New Item distribution.
  • Complete all forms and send them back to the salesperson or distributor contact.
  • Maintain Market/Region Share point website materials including but not limited to: Market Client Lists (MCLs) - download monthly MCLs from the Marketing site and distribute them to the sales team.
  • Education MCLs are published and downloaded Quarterly.
  • Keep Work With/Sales Meetings/Vacation Calendars up to date.
  • Keep Market At-A-Glance up to date.
  • Book hotels and flights for market meetings, sales calls, interviews, and food shows as needed.
  • Reconcile monthly Visa statements in Concur for expenses incurred. Any billable expense must be invoiced before monthly reconciliation.
  • Process any sample invoices billed to Acxion; this includes having the invoice paid by Acxion and rebilled in the GenWeb System.
  • Input billable expenses into GenWeb, creating invoices payable to Acxion.
  • Prepare and coordinate marketing programs as needed by sending out initial requests, filling out paperwork, and scheduling and keeping track of meetings.
  • Coordinate distributor flyers and promotions, create and distribute information, send emails requesting participation, and organize allowance paperwork.
  • Provide administrative support for individual distributor reviews. Prepare for Reviews by requesting information from corporate client coordinators, business distributor managers, and CRM; compile all information into an excel worksheet or business review PowerPoint.
  • Organize all for-profit bids by reading over bids requests and identifying what lines we represent.
  • Assist sales and warehouse personnel with sample requests by ordering samples for shows and everyday work activities.
  • Help maintain freezer and warehouse, maintain POS files, prepare all mailing and FedEx.
  • Assist when needed with presentations for all new Clients.
  • Create and prepare sales and order reports for Market Directors.
  • Maintain all Market email groups in the corporate Outlook address book.
  • Respond to Call Center Requests in the requested timeframe.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
