About The Position

Our client is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to support fire protection construction operations across the Pacific Northwest and Colorado regions. This role plays a critical part in making safety the #1 priority across all job sites by supporting project teams, field leadership, and corporate safety initiatives. The Regional Safety Manager will spend approximately 65% of their time in the field and 35% in administrative or office support (potentially working from home). This role partners closely with superintendents, foremen, project managers, and corporate leadership to drive a proactive safety culture, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across multiple active job sites. This position requires a hands-on safety leader who thrives in field environments, communicates effectively at all levels, and brings practical construction safety experience-preferably within fire protection, sprinkler, alarm, or mechanical trades.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of construction safety experience (or equivalent combination of training and experience)
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations
  • Ability to recognize hazards and drive corrective actions
  • Experience supporting active construction job sites
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Fire protection, sprinkler, alarm, or pipefitting background
  • OSHA 500 - Train the Trainer (preferred)
  • OSHA 510 - Construction Standards (preferred)
  • CHST (preferred)
  • Current CPR / First Aid
  • Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, WISHA, CISHA, and FED-OSHA

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary safety leader supporting fire protection construction operations across multiple active job sites within the Pacific Northwest and Colorado regions
  • Maintain a strong field presence (approximately 65%) by conducting routine site visits, safety inspections, and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Promote and drive a proactive, people-first safety culture emphasizing hazard recognition, prevention, and accountability at all levels
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations, including OSHA, WISHA, CISHA, NEC, and NFPA 70E
  • Support job hazard analyses (JHAs), pre-task planning, toolbox talks, and safety meetings to ensure risks are clearly communicated and controlled
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety observations; document findings; and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Track, maintain, and report safety documentation, inspection records, training logs, and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Collaborate with corporate safety leadership to support company-wide safety initiatives, policies, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Provide guidance and coaching to field leadership to strengthen safety ownership and consistency across all projects
