About The Position

To lead and support occupational safety, health, and OSHA compliance efforts for the East Region by providing expert guidance, training, and technical support. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA 1910 and 1926 standards, conducting safety assessments and observations, developing and delivering safety training programs, and analyzing incident trends to drive continuous improvement. The role serves as a key resource for field personnel, promotes a proactive safety culture, and contributes to the overall success of company safety initiatives through independent judgment, leadership, and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Knowledgeable of OSHA 1910 and 1926 regulations
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent leadership and people skills
  • Excellent presentation development and delivery skills
  • Proactive attitude and approach to safety
  • Ability to self-direct and motivate
  • Proven track record of managing safety programs
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety, Health, or Fire Science
  • 5 years professional full-time field safety experience, OR 15 years industrial oil and gas experience WITH 5 years in an Occupational Safety or Health function

Nice To Haves

  • Industrial Hygiene experience
  • GSP, ASP, or CSP Certification
  • Natural gas pipeline operational experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health, Safety, or Fire Science AND GSP, ASP, CSP, or IH certification(s)
