About The Position

As a Regional Quality Manager, Terminals, you’ll play a key leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety across ADM’s terminal distribution operations within our Corn Business Unit. You’ll oversee implementation and maintenance of ADM’s Quality Management System (QMS) and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) requirements, supporting starch terminals, sweetener-approved wash stations, and third-party terminals. You’ll serve as a subject matter expert in GFSI auditing and certification, lead FSSC 22000 programs, and partner closely with terminal management to drive continuous improvement in quality, compliance, and operational excellence. This position reports to the Divisional QFS Manager – Terminals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Food Science, Microbiology, Engineering, or related field preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years in a regulated industry (FDA, cGMP, or USDA environment).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical thinker with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Willingness to travel domestically as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation and maintenance of ADM’s Quality Management System requirements across regional terminals.
  • Ensure all documentation, records, and corrective actions are completed accurately and on time.
  • Conduct and support internal and external audits, including FSSC 22000 and GFSI audits.
  • Review audit results for third-party terminals and collaborate on corrective actions.
  • Develop and verify operational prerequisite programs and environmental testing standards.
  • Standardize product testing and quality verification processes across the region.
  • Provide training and guidance to terminal teams on food safety and quality practices.
  • Stay current with evolving regulatory, customer, and industry requirements.
  • Lead additional quality initiatives as assigned by Quality Leadership.
