About The Position

The REMM Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Regional Property Manager to oversee a multifamily portfolio based in Los Angeles. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, and team development across multiple communities. The ideal candidate brings strong multifamily expertise, advanced financial and operational acumen, and a proven ability to lead high-performing onsite teams. This position requires regular travel throughout Northern California and may include occasional out-of-state travel to Arizona. Compensation: Starting at $120,000 annually, plus auto allowance and performance bonus.

Requirements

  • Active California Real Estate License required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field preferred).
  • Minimum 4+ years of Regional or multi-site property management experience in multifamily housing; third-party management experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Yardi property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong financial analysis and budget management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with experience developing and managing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including Northern California and occasional out-of-state travel.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operational, financial, and physical performance of a multifamily portfolio, ensuring communities meet established business goals and performance benchmarks.
  • Conduct routine property inspections, analyze financial, market, and operational reports, and implement strategic action plans to drive results.
  • Prepare, manage, and monitor annual operating budgets; ensure revenue and expense targets are met or exceeded.
  • Produce and present monthly and quarterly performance reports, including detailed variance analyses and market insights, to senior leadership and ownership.
  • Lead the implementation of company initiatives, operational changes, and best practices across the portfolio.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage onsite teams in alignment with company policies, values, and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with leasing teams to develop and execute market-driven marketing and occupancy strategies.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of submarket conditions, rental trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Oversee maintenance operations and capital needs to ensure properties meet company standards, regulatory requirements, and safety expectations.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs to protect asset value and extend property life cycles.
  • Foster positive resident relations and ensure timely resolution of concerns to maintain high satisfaction and retention.
  • Promote client/ownership satisfaction through proactive communication, timely reporting, and alignment with investment objectives.
  • Utilize Yardi and related systems to monitor performance metrics, streamline operations, and generate reports.
