About the position

The Multifamily Regional Property Manager is responsible for the business plan execution for an assigned portfolio of affordable properties. They will have a proven track record in managing a diverse portfolio of affordable properties, be a motivator, a good communicator, and a hands-on manager. Regional Property Managers have direct accountability over Property Managers and Area Managers and may mentor others to ensure implementation and execution of all corporate policies and procedures and to meet and/or exceed client expectations. The Multifamily Regional Property Manager must demonstrate strong client and team management skills. They must possess the ability and willingness to develop, train and mentor lower-level managers.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact related to all multifamily property related items with the owner's representative.
  • Understand and communicate terms of the Property Management Agreement.
  • Review and approve all property purchasing with adherence to the expense budget.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to develop marketing budgets and plans and monitor ad effectiveness and spend.
  • Engage in revenue management pricing and attend all pricing calls with the Revenue Management team.
  • Review resident and mystery shop survey results and create action plans for team members.
  • Oversee marketing activities such as reviewing market comps and economic information.
  • Assist with RFP responses and participate in pitches.
  • Ensure property staff utilize front-end technology systems as intended.
  • Oversee property risk management, safety standards, and team member and resident liability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 5+ years of Multifamily Regional Property Manager experience.
  • Experience managing 1000+ units.
  • Proficiency in Yardi property management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to draw data results from systems-driven reporting.
  • General office, bookkeeping, and sales skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • CPM, CCI, RPA, CAM preferred.
  • CO real estate license preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
