About The Position

The Regional Property Manager for Healthcare Facilities at Hackensack Meridian Health is responsible for overseeing the property management of non-hospital owned and leased facilities. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing the value of real property while ensuring compliance with administrative policies and professional ethics. The position requires a strong background in property management within healthcare organizations, particularly in managing physician offices and outpatient services. The role is hybrid, based in Neptune, NJ, with future relocation to Tinton Falls, NJ, and includes on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of property management experience.
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook, PeopleSoft, and accounting software.
  • Valid Driver's License from a USA state.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees contractors for outsourced services and maintains cost-effective utilization of services.
  • Annually reviews janitorial, pest control, snow removal, landscaping, and HVAC contracts for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Responds to emergency calls after hours and on weekends as appropriate.
  • Inspects all sites to ensure compliance and cleanliness, conducting semi-annual inspections to identify potential or existing problems.
  • Maintains property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing occupancy rules, inspecting vacant units, and planning renovations.
  • Coordinates moves of practices/offices, including managing movers, IT, telecom, and setting up new vendor services.
  • Processes vendor proposals and contracts through PeopleSoft for payment approvals.
  • Maintains effective communication with private and hospital tenants, as well as inter-departmentally.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned, adhering to organizational competencies and standards.
